In a study conducted in March - April 2023 by CHI Créteil in France, the feasibility and effectiveness of a walk-in ophthalmological screening consultation were evaluated using the Visionix VX 650, automated multimodal equipment, in a university hospital setting. .

  • keratometry,
  • pachymetry,
  • non-contact tonometry,
  • corneal topography,
  • retinophotography

The study included 536 patients, among whom 45.52% were diagnosed with ocular pathology.

The main pathologies discovered were:

  • 16% of Cataract
  • 15.30% of Ocular surface disorders
  • 10% of Age-Related Maculopathy,
  • 6.40% of Narrow angle

The VX 650 was particularly effective in diagnosing keratoconus with integrated corneal topography.
